So,the Castiac RV park is NOT close to Lake Castiac! But it gave us the chance to unwind and relax. We took a bike ride in the morning and went to a car show, here at the RV park, it was small but interesting. We played a round of Yahtzee after lunch, I was awful,but Tom had a good round! Later we went to the pool and played a little basketball, we were the only two people in the pool,which surprised me a little because it’s a little warm here.
We relaxed this afternoon and then put some chicken on the bbq…it was suppose to be my “pretty chicken” but I forgot sugar and brought dry mustard instead of ginger, so I added short rib rub and it was great!
We made friends with our neighbors Tom and Christine, they were a lot of fun, and they had a cornhole game that was pvc and nylon, so the bags bounce. It was definitely a new skill, but we had a great time playing. Popcorn over a campfire and lots of laughs later it was time to say goodnight and turn in…another great day on our adventure. We’ll head home tomorrow.
