This weekend’s adventure took us to Pacific Dunes in Oceana, which is right next to Pismo Beach. Although the RV park is clean and nice, the sites are really small and we kinda felt like we were on all smashed in together.
We took a walk over to the sand dunes and they really are spectacular! Just a few yards from the pavement and you felt like you were in the middle of the Sahara, well except for the cool breeze (or wind!)
On Saturday we took a drive to Grover beach and then to Pismo Beach. We saw a place called F. Mclintocks and because we’re huge John Wayne fans and he has a movie called McClintock! We thought we’d stop in. Had a bloody Mary in a cute little place and moved on.
We found a RV resort in Pismo Beach that was more what we had in mind so next time we come this way we’ll go to the Pismo Coast Village RV Resort!
We took a bike ride around and ended up at a horse ranch… No we didn’t go riding, but some folks were just getting going
We also tried out our new theater seating that was installed last week,Verdict….. A huge improvement, well worth the money.
Although it will be a short trip it’s very relaxing, just what we needed!
